I moved from Seattle to Cookeville, TN for what essentially became the pandemic years. In a small town, and supported by great interests rates, I got to buy a house. Previously as a renter in different spaces, I would always push what felt allowed (installing new hardware in the bathroom, light landscaping), but finally here was able to do anything I wanted.
